Biorulli® Biorotors B 290: description

The B-series Biorotor version of the Biorulli® biodisc oxidation system has some special features: the sandwich discs are mounted on a painted carbon steel tubular shaft and can have different diameters depending on the models: 2.00 m, 2.40 m or B 290. Of these, the B 290 version is the one with the largest diameter and is used in large plants.

The components of the biorotors, and of the B 290 version in particular, are solidly joined by means of tie rods, spokes, flanges and spokes made of hot-dip galvanized steel. The discs, on the other hand, are made of plastic material: on them the bacterial flora is formed, which carries out the process of biological oxidation of the nutrient in the effluent.
